Rapid Web Prototyper
The rules for using RWP and your subscription.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Rapid Web Prototyper (RWP), including the browser extension, licensing service, website, subscription-management flow and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By installing, activating, purchasing, subscribing to or using RWP, you agree to these Terms. If you use RWP on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
RWP is a browser-based visual prototyping tool that lets you make temporary changes to webpages in your browser and save local prototype files for review, ideation and presentation.
RWP does not publish your changes back to the original website, CMS, source repository or server. It is not a website-cloning service, production deployment platform, security tool, accessibility-certification tool or substitute for professional legal, technical or compliance review.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase or subscribe to RWP. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide for licensing, billing and device identification.
You may not share, sell, transfer or make your license key available to another person except as expressly allowed by RWP’s licensing features.
RWP may provide a 7-day trial so you can evaluate the product before subscribing. When the trial expires, paid access may be required to continue using RWP.
Trial availability, eligibility and features may change. Unless otherwise stated during signup or checkout, the end of a trial does not create a right to continued free access.
RWP is currently offered at $4.99 per month, plus applicable taxes where required. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each monthly billing cycle until canceled.
Subscription payments and payment-method management are handled through Stripe-hosted services. When you use Stripe’s hosted billing pages, Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices also apply.
RWP may change pricing or subscription features in the future. Where required by law, notice will be provided before a change affects a future billing period.
You may cancel your subscription through the Stripe-hosted subscription-management flow available from RWP Settings.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. You will retain paid access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable and unused time is not refunded or prorated.
RWP Version 1.0 is licensed for one active browser installation at a time. A different browser, browser profile or computer may be treated as a separate device.
To move your license, deactivate the currently active device/browser through Settings → Active Devices, then activate RWP on the new browser or computer.
You are responsible for managing your active device and protecting access to your browser and license information.
Subject to these Terms, RWP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for lawful purposes such as:
Your subscription licenses use of RWP itself. It does not grant rights to third-party websites, templates, themes, code, fonts, images, videos, trademarks, copy or other materials you may view or prototype against.
RWP can be used while viewing websites and interfaces owned by other people or organizations. Those materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You are solely responsible for determining whether you have the rights, permissions or licenses required for your intended use. RWP does not grant you permission to copy, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit third-party materials.
Using an existing website as a visual starting point to demonstrate a client’s branding or a proposed design direction does not transfer ownership of that website or its underlying materials to you.
If a production project uses a commercial theme, template, image, font, code library or other licensed asset, you are responsible for obtaining and complying with the applicable license.
You may not use RWP to:
RWP saves prototype files locally on your computer. A saved prototype may still reference core files and resources hosted by the original website or another third party, including stylesheets, fonts, scripts, images and media.
As a result, internet access may be required to view a saved prototype correctly. If the original website changes, removes an asset, blocks access or goes offline, your saved prototype may look different or may no longer load that resource.
RWP is not a cloud backup service. You are responsible for maintaining backups and copies of your local prototype files. RWP cannot guarantee recovery of files that are deleted, moved, overwritten, corrupted or lost.
RWP is designed to work with most standard webpage elements, but website implementations vary widely. Some content may not be fully editable, including cross-origin iFrames, canvas-rendered interfaces, closed or customized components, runtime-generated content and site-specific JavaScript/CSS interactions.
RWP does not guarantee compatibility with every website, browser version, framework, application or future change made by a third-party site.
For current limitations and recommended workarounds, see the Tutorial and FAQ.
RWP is intended to help communicate ideas. A prototype should be reviewed before anyone treats it as a production specification or deploys similar changes to a live environment.
You are responsible for evaluating accessibility, security, privacy, legal compliance, licensing, browser compatibility, technical feasibility, performance and any other production requirements relevant to your project.
RWP does not guarantee that a prototype complies with accessibility standards, privacy laws, copyright or trademark requirements, security standards or the terms of any third-party platform.
RWP’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The normal editing workflow occurs in the browser, while licensing and subscription systems process the information necessary to validate access and manage billing.
RWP may be updated, modified or improved over time. Features may be added, changed, limited or removed, and compatibility may change as browsers and third-party websites evolve.
RWP may require you to install an updated version in order to continue receiving support, security updates or compatibility fixes.
RWP may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you fail to pay applicable subscription fees, violate these Terms, misuse the Service, attempt to interfere with licensing or security systems, or use RWP in a manner that creates material legal, security or operational risk.
You may stop using RWP at any time. Cancellation of a paid subscription is governed by the cancellation terms above.
Sections concerning third-party rights, user responsibility, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and other provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after termination.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RWP AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RWP disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability and compatibility.
RWP does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every website, or that saved prototypes or third-party resources will remain available.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RWP AND ITS OWNER, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
This includes, without limitation, lost revenue or profits, lost business opportunities, business interruption, loss or corruption of data or prototype files, replacement costs, fines, penalties, legal fees, third-party claims, or losses resulting from unauthorized or improper use of third-party websites or materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to RWP or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the subscription fees you paid for RWP during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless RWP and its owner, affiliates, contractors and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, fines, penalties, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from or related to:
Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved by agreement will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
RWP may update these Terms as the Service, business model or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the Terms are revised.
Where required by law, notice of material changes will be provided. Continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without prior written permission from RWP. RWP may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or similar business transaction.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms presented during checkout or licensing, constitute the agreement governing your use of RWP.
